The Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons told BBC Urdu that the victims were students of Iqra University in Karachi and were living in the city from past two years.

“The men were originally from Panjgur region of Balochistan. Babo Iftekhar was abducted on 28 January this year from Raees Goth, Karachi. After the recovery of these two dead bodies the number of Baloch activist killed and dumped in Karachi has reached to 7 in past two month,” Said Abdul Qadeer Baloch.

Mr Qadeer further said that several Baloch youth were abducted from different areas of Balochistan by Pakistan security forces and their dead bodies were later found in Karachi.

Separately, the Pakistani security forces abducted three Baloch students from Khuzdar on 4 March, 2013. The victims have been named as Mohammad Raheem Baloch, Abdul Ghafoor Baloch and Abdul Qadir Baloch.
The students were reportedly returning from school when they were intercepted near an FC post and abducted.

Meanwhile the Baloch Human Rights Organisation (BHRO) held a protest rally outside Karachi Press club against the killing and abductions of Baloch activists. The BHRO said that Pakistani judiciary and Human Rights Organisations have failed resolve the issue of grave human rights violation in Balochistan.

“The judiciary, instead of helping the families of abducted Baloch activists, is trying to distort their cases because of which the human rights situation in Balochistan is deteriorating with each coming day,” Said the BHRO leaders.

They urged the international human rights organisations to put pressure on Pakistan to stop the on-going military offensives in Balochistan and abduction Baloch activists and extra judicial killings.
