Baloch pro-freedom parties condemn attack on Daily Tawar, protest against military operation
Quetta: Baloch pro-independence Baloch Parties and Student Organisations strongly condemn the attack on Daily Tawar’s office saying that the state was sacred of the Newspaper because of exposing the state atrocities in Balochistan and representing the genuine Baloch aspirations.
The Baloch National Voice termed the attack as an act of cowardice and a continuation of Pakistan’s anti Baloch policies.
“The banning of BSO-Azad, discovery of mutilated bodies of abducted Baloch, military operations in different areas of Baloch and threating the members of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons are all connected to each other and it is the work of state security forces,” The BNV said in its statement.
The BNV also strongly condemned the state media for its silence over human rights violations in Balochistan and attack on Daily Tawar.
Meanwhile the BSO-Azad, BNM and BRP have also strongly condemned the attack on Daily Tawar’s office in their separate statement.
On the other hand the Baloch Human Rights Organisation held a protest demonstration in front of Karachi Press Club against the attack on Daily Tawar and on-going military operations in different region of Balochistan.
The representative of the BHRO told BalochWarna News that a large number of Baloch residents from Karachi participated in the protest to condemn state atrocities against Baloch people.
“Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) held a Protest in front of Karachi Press Club against the attack on Daily Tawar’s office and on-going Pakistani Military operation in Naseerabad, Dera Bugti, Makuran, Kohistan Marri and other part of Balochistan.
“Though such protest we aim to bring the plight of Baloch people to the attention of International Media and International Human Rights Organisations,” Said a representative of the BHRO.
